If you are like me and want to see the world, teaching is a great way to get you there. However, you must remember that your students value your time and so you also must value theirs. I have seen too many people who use teaching as a way to travel, but short change their students by not doing a good job.
I have taught both adults and children and they require different methods and skills for each. Adults ask a lot of grammar questions and they also need someone who is experienced in phonics. Children's classes are high energy and require singing and moving around a lot.
If you are interested in doing what I have done then use Google or a site like Daves ESL Cafe to get more info. There are literally thousands of teaching jobs in hundreds of countries. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and something I never thought would turn into more than 2 years has turned in to 8. Just make sure you get into it for the right reasons and realize that as a teacher you may have 100 or more students who are counting on you.
